Job summary

A hospitality company in Seremban is seeking F&B Assistants to provide excellent service to guests. Responsibilities include attending to requests, serving food and beverages, maintaining appearance standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism and teamwork, while being punctual and courteous. Knowledge of food and beverage preparation is beneficial. This role is crucial in promoting a welcoming environment for both staff and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to guests and staff requests in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Complete assigned side work prior to opening and closing of the restaurant each day.
  • Promote teamwork whilst working and assist others whenever possible to the advantage of the guest.
  • Maintain standard during set up and ensure settings are uniformed.
  • Serve all food & beverage with a basic knowledge of ingredient and preparation times and methods.
  • Maintain a knowledge of various bar prices.
  • Carry trays of food & beverage promoting safety and breakage avoidance.
  • Provide responsible alcoholic beverage service.
  • Clear tables quietly and efficiently.
  • Rest tables quickly and accurately.
  • Relay all guest comments to Restaurant Coordinators and Restaurant Manager.
  • Carry “waiter’s friend”, notebook, lighter and two pens at all time.
  • Promote professionalism through appearance and manner.
  • Maintain complete familiarity of safety and fire emergency procedures.
  • Maintain staff uniform in clean and tidy form.
  • Maintain grooming of hair and shoes to Arena Premier Boutique Seremban standards.
  • Perform all related duties as requested by the Manager / Coordinator.
  • Assist in other outlets when necessary.
  • Be aware of your roster and give adequate notice whenever serious circumstances prevent you adhering to your roster.
  • Be punctual, efficient and courteous.
  • Make a point to greet arriving guests pleasantly.

  • It is the responsibility of each F&B Assistant to carry out all the tasks outlined in the standards and procedures.
  • All service personnel are required to assist in other outlets when necessary.
  • Be aware of your roster and give adequate notice whenever serious circumstances prevent you adhering to your roster.
  • Be punctual (15 minutes), efficient and above all courteous. Assume at all times a pleasing and helpful attitude towards each guest. Watch for the arrival of guest, making a point to greet them pleasantly even if they cannot be accommodated immediately.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time / or as and when required.
