Responsibilities
  • Leads the design and development of new product/process technology.
  • Candidate will be responsible for developing microwave/Millimeterwave test accessories (e.g., mixers, solid state switches, amplifiers, noise source, etc.) for launch as trade products and contribute to the growth of the business.
  • During product development, performance goals, cost goals and project schedule must be met.
  • Candidate is highly encouraged to periodically publish (internal and/or external) technical paper or application notes related to the products being developed.
  • Uses product and customer applications knowledge to determine, define, develop and validate design concepts and methods.
Qualifications
  • PhD / Master / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications / RF & Microwave engineering or equivalent.
  • Typically, more than 5 years of working experience with at least 3 years in RF/Microwave products.
  • Strong core knowledge in passive components (resistors, capacitors, inductors), transmission line theory and basic RF components such as mixers, couplers, amplifiers and switches, is required.
  • Able to use instruments such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers and Oscilloscopes and perform the necessary calibration and measurement.
  • Knowledge in simulation/engineering software tools such as ADS/Momentum/MATLAB/EMPro will be a great add.
