Executive, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Vehicle Technical & Inspection

Job Summary:

As part of the Operations Division, this role is responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing vehicle inspection methods and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with JPJ regulations, Road Transport Act, and other statutory requirements. The position requires strong technical expertise to maintain operational excellence and regulatory integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the section in achieving KPIs and operational targets set by Management.
  • Assist the Head of Section in establishing the Annual Management Plan (AMP) for the division.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for vehicle inspection processes and methods, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure all inspection standards and methods are registered, documented, and managed in accordance with company policies and JPJ regulations under relevant acts.
  • Implement and promote quality, safety, health, and environmental management systems to meet regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for inspection processes and technical standards.
  • Provide technical support to other divisions to resolve or enhance vehicle inspection methods.
  • Prepare reports and summarize progress on incidents or events for submission to the Head of Section.
  • Maintain strong relationships with authorities, customers, associations, and business partners.
  • Act as helpdesk support for technical issues related to vehicle inspection methods and standards.
Job Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in vehicle inspection, automotive operations, or related technical roles.
