Job description

As a Sustainability Business Development Executive, you will support the sales team in achieving product sustainability goals by assisting with Product sustainability, circular economy and related sustainability activities. You will contribute to TÜV SÜD’s sustainability initiatives by supporting circular economy projects and product sustainability programs, while gaining hands‑on experience working with industry partners.

This role offers a strong learning platform to develop technical and commercial skills, work closely with experienced professionals, and grow your expertise in sustainability within a collaborative and technology-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support business development activities for the product sustainability market in Malaysia, working closely with the sales team to contribute toward revenue targets.
• Assist the Sales team in responding to client requests from pre‑engagement through project execution, supporting the delivery and growth of sustainability services in ASEAN and beyond.
• Participate in and support sustainability projects and studies across a range of industries and clients.
• Assist in building and maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies, internal and external technical experts, research institutions and industry associations to enhance technical knowledge and innovation.
• Support data analysis activities by reviewing datasets, interpreting results, and helping translate environmental data into clear findings and practical insights.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other relevant degree, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.

Fresh graduates are welcomed.

Experience in sustainability development, market strategy and development is a plus.

Understanding of product sustainability basics such as ISO 14040/14044, ISO 14067, ISO 14064 is a plus.
