Execute the project contracts and subcontracts function across the entire project lifecycle, ensuring the effective execution and compliance of all contractual obligations that are critical to achieving project, commercial, and strategic goals.
Maintain the execution of project contracts, change management and operation contracts matters for Project.
Management Teams & Business Leaders in order to achieve project results.
Liaising with Project Management Teams/Business Leaders on project contract management matters towards making effective decision/direction in order to achieve project results.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute project contracts/subcontracts management within and across the project lifecycle which are critical to the achievement of overall project goals.
- Liaising with Project Management Teams/Business Leaders on project contract management matters towards making effective decision/direction in order to achieve project results.
- Providing support and assistance to the pre-contract & subcontract formation (Projects Main Contracts, JV/Consortium Contracts & Subcontracts during bidding [General Conditions, Special Conditions, flow down, etc.) and ensure incorporation of appropriate risk allocation, legal compliance and lessons learned from pas project.
- Manage and control the execution of post contract & subcontract management (Projects Main Contracts and JV/Consortium Contracts [management & administration until closeout], Subcontract [dispute resolution).
- Manage and administer the project contractual deliverables in accordance with contract requirement & MMHE’s Interest.
- Highlight and identify risks and opportunities associated with contractual obligations. Develop and implement mitigation strategies in coordination with Legal, Commercial, and Project Control functions to minimize project exposure and enhance value.
- Accountable in management of contract changes and variation orders which includes evaluation, analyzing, gathering information, preparation, negotiation, and finalization of claims such as EOT, acceleration, disruption, and prolongation which are critical to ensure the project risk and opportunities are mitigated/pursued as per contract.
- Identify and manage on dispute resolution strategies and settlements with clients, subcontractors, and consortium partners. Collaborate closely with Legal, Project Directors, and Senior Management to manage formal proceedings such as mediation, arbitration, or litigation where necessary.
- Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance against contractual obligations, quality standards, and project milestones. Lead coordination efforts with Construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure compliance and initiate corrective actions when performance deviations arise.
- Ensure adherence to internal governance processes, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements throughout the subcontract lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Engineering/Any equivalent Field.
- Min. 6 years’ experience in Project Control /Project Management of Heavy Engineering projects (EPCIC/EPCC/EPCI/EPC/ePC/epC).
