Job description

Hong Leong Investment Bank – Damansara, Selangor

Responsible for Central Depository System (CDS) related processing including deposits, transfers, share withdrawals, foreign currency trust conversion, and Transfer of Ownership (TOT).

Handle daily cash, cheque, Earnings per Share (EPS), and billing operations including verification, bank-in, balancing in a timely manner.

Manage margin and settlements activities such as margin top-ups, set-offs, debit/credit notes, journals, stock balance checks, and client inquiries.

Review and maintain CDS documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Process institutional and retail settlement instructions, billing, interest waive and follow up on rejections and exceptions.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as Bursa Malaysia and partner banks for any related issues.

Assist in process improvement, system enhancement, and other ad-hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirements

Possess Bachelor Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Studies or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year of working experience in stockbroking industry/custodian services (operations or any relevant function).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Good command of spoken and written English.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Detail-oriented, organized and team player.
