Job summary

A leading insurance provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive for Major Claims processing. In this role, you'll assess Life claims while ensuring departmental targets are met. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a degree in biomedical sciences, and preferably two years' experience in Life/Major claims. This position emphasizes service excellence and the identification of potential fraud while assessing cases.

Qualifications

• 2 years in Life/Major claims is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of medical terms/medical related studies is an added advantage.
• Ability to consume medical information from reports.

Responsibilities

• Process and assess Major (Death, CI, TPD, Waiver claim) end-to-end.
• Identify and flag potential suspected fraud/non-disclosure.
• Liaise with intermediaries in the work process.

In your new role, you will process Major/Life claims and ensure that departmental strategic initiatives are continuously met, contributing to the overall achievement of the Company’s mission and business plan. You will provide optimal service to both internal and external customers, ensuring that the moment of truth experience is realized.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Process and assess Major (Death, CI, TPD, Waiver claim) end‑to‑end
• Identify and flag potential suspected fraud/non‑disclosure while assessing cases
• Complete the end‑to‑end task within the given Turn Around Time accurately
• Liaise with intermediaries in the work process
• Draft and send correspondence letters independently
• Constantly look for ways to improve the current process
• Participate in UAT testing and new product set‑up
• Use ChatGPT for automating routine tasks and enhancing productivity

Important to your success:

• Good communication skills in both written and verbal
• Inquisitive and passionate about making genuine and just claims
• Conscientious and committed to ensuring service level is met at all times
• Graduate in biomedical science or any science‑related studies is an added advantage
• 2 years in Life/Major claims is an added advantage
• Knowledge of medical terms/medical related studies is an added advantage
• Ability to consume medical information from the given report and to stand by the decision made
