A real estate company in Selangor is looking for a Security Supervisor to oversee the Security & Safety Department for Factory 19. The role involves managing security personnel, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring adherence to policies. Candidates should have 3–5 years of security experience with leadership skills, and familiarity with CCTV systems. Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English are essential. The position will require working weekends and public holidays.
To assist the superior in overseeing the Security & Safety Department for Factory 19 and its surrounding premises, ensuring the protection of company assets, personnel, tenants, and customers while maintaining a high standard of operational security and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of security personnel across assigned shifts, ensuring all posts, patrols, and access control points are properly manned.
Oversee guard post assignments, task allocation, and shift rotations to ensure full coverage and compliance with company standards.
Perform regular patrols and spot checks to detect potential security risks, safety issues, or breaches of company policies.
Develop, implement, and maintain safety and security strategies, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure all security personnel adhere to company policies, procedures, and disciplinary systems.
Take corrective action on any non-compliance or misconduct.
Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in accordance with company procedures.
Monitor CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to detect and report incidents accurately.
Prepare detailed incident reports and follow up on corrective actions as required.
Conduct investigations into matters related to safety and security.
Liaise and maintain professional relationships with in-house and external parties, including police, Bomba, and other relevant authorities.
Foster discipline, teamwork, and good interpersonal relationships among security personnel.
Promote a professional image of the company and uphold its reputation and goodwill with employees, tenants, contractors, and stakeholders.
Support manpower planning, roster scheduling, and task deployment based on operational requirements.
Coordinate security support for contractors, visitors, and company events.
Identify potential risks and recommend preventive measures to management.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by Management, including night shifts or special tasks as required.
Requirements:
Diploma in Security Management, Law Enforcement, or Hospitality Management will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in the security field.
At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Experience in entertainment venues, shopping malls, events, or other high-traffic public areas, including crowd control, is preferred.
Strong leadership, supervisory, and people management skills.
Sound knowledge of crowd control, access control, and incident handling procedures.
Ability to respond to emergencies calmly, promptly, and decisively.
Familiarity with CCTV monitoring systems and general security technologies.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
Physically fit, proactive, fast learner, and willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
This position is based at the office in Factory 19, Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.
