A corporate entity in Malaysia seeks an Executive for Secretarial and Corporate Relations in Kuala Lumpur. This role involves supporting compliance, preparing statutory documents, and coordinating meetings. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and experience in corporate secretarial work is preferred. Strong communication skills in English are needed, and the candidate should have a willingness to learn and travel within Klang Valley.
Company Secretarial & Compliance Support:
Assist in supporting compliance with the Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
Support the preparation and submission of statutory filings, forms, and returns to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) and other relevant authorities.
Assist in coordinating Board Meetings, Board Committee Meetings, and General Meetings, including preparation of notices, agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items.
Maintain and update statutory registers, corporate records, and company secretarial documentation.
Provide administrative and documentation support during internal, statutory, and secretarial audits or regulatory reviews.
Assist in handling correspondence and communication with shareholders, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Corporate Relations Support:
Assist in handling correspondence and communication with shareholders, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Coordinate with internal departments to obtain information required for corporate communications and reporting.
ESG Support:
Support data collection, documentation, and record-keeping for sustainability reporting, ESG disclosures, and annual reports.
Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants on sustainability-related activities and reporting.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Administration/ Business Administration/ Finance, Professional Degree (ICSA) or equivalent.
Experience/exposure to corporate secretarial works and reporting would be an added advantage.
Basic understanding of corporate compliance and governance requirements in Malaysia.
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn and develop skills in company secretarial and sustainability matters.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is an advantage).
Candidate must be willing to travel within Klang Valley to attend meeting.
