A global equipment dealer is seeking an Executive in Sales based in Kuching, Sarawak. The ideal candidate will drive sales initiatives for new equipment and services, manage inquiries, and lead branch operations. A degree or diploma in Marketing or Engineering with 2–3 years of sales experience is required. This role demands strong communication skills and proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Degree or Diploma in Marketing and/or Engineering.
2–3 years of relevant experience in sales or business development.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
Computer literate with strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication, analytical, and supervisory skills.
Able to work independently with strong initiative.
Willing to travel and possess own transport.
Sales and Business Development
Drive sales of Perkins new equipment and product support services to achieve branch revenue targets.
Manage and respond to sales inquiries promptly and professionally.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Sarawak region.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Branch Operations
Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
Monitor monthly finance performance, including revenue and expenses, against budget.
Coordinate with clients and Head Office on factory test planning and execution.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
Address and resolve escalated customer concerns in a timely manner.
Leadership
Lead, coach, and motivate the branch team to meet performance objectives.
Conduct monthly team performance reviews and collaborate on improvement plans.
Plan and coordinate staff training with HQ and HR.
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence.
Environment, Safety & Health (ESH)
Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and ESH policy.
Identify and mitigate risks related to branch operations and customer service.
Report
Prepare and submit monthly sales and operations reports.
Analyze branch data and provide insights for improvement.
