A leading electrical solutions provider based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is seeking a Sales Executive to develop and implement sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in the cable industry, with strong communication and negotiation skills. Responsibilities include managing customer inquiries, conducting market research, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. Knowledge of cable products is essential, and proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is advantageous.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand customer base or prospects.
Attend to sales enquiries by furnishing product information, such as usage, application, price movements, and other developments to customers and prospects; arrange site visits and sales demonstrations; and follow up with prospects until the closing of sales.
Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to enhance brand visibility.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Responsible for collections and credit control, and for preparing sales forecasts and reports for meetings and management information.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients as required.
Required to comply with any additional duties and assignments as and when necessary.
