Job summary

A construction materials company in Subang Jaya is seeking a motivated Sales & Marketing Executive. You will be responsible for managing sales activities for building materials within the construction industry in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have at least a diploma or degree in relevant fields and experience in sales, especially in the construction industry. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve sales targets, with opportunities for fresh graduates as well.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Sales & Marketing activities for Building Materials (General & Architectural Products) in construction industry within Malaysia.
• To achieve / exceed sales budget given by following up on customer’s requirements/ orders progress and maintaining good relationship with customers.
• To compile reports on products, market, competitors analysis.
• To expand customer base by generating new key accounts.
• To gain better market share by providing suitable solutions to the customers.
• To ensure timely collection.
• Any other task assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Business Studies/Administration/ Management, Marketing, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience preferably in Sales relevant to construction industry/building materials.
• Good interpersonal skills, customer service and negotiation skills, self-motivated, goal oriented and result driven.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
