Job summary

A leading energy company in Malaysia is seeking an Executive for Industrial Sales in Pahang and Terengganu. This role involves developing a customer database, providing excellent customer service, and promoting the use of natural gas. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Engineering or Business Administration and 3-4 years of relevant experience in sales or marketing within the energy business. Executive, Industrial Sales (Pahang/Terengganu Kelantan)

To develop the potential customers database and implement pre and post sales activities for Industrial Sales (Pahang/Terengganu/Kelantan) in order to realize the sales revenue and business objective of the company

The Job:

Identify potential customers for data-base within assigned areas through government bodies and publication and site surveys.

Providing customer service by personal visits, promoting the utilization of natural gas and maintaining effective contacts.

Prepare proposals and make presentations to customers in terms of costs and benefits of conversion to natural gas.

Liaise and assist technical support personnel in the pre and actual commissioning of customers installation, including preliminary study on gas equipment and facility.

Maintain control on operating costs and improve sales performance in the assigned areas by monitoring against target.

Continuously monitoring of account receivable to ensure that credit risk taken are calculated and collections are timely.

Provide information on customers and regional sales performance and establish rapport with external contact (state SEDC, FMD, MDA, town councils, oil co. rep.)

Conduct and organize seminars on natural gas usage in the assigned areas.

Requirements:

Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or its equivalent.

Preferably with 3-4 years of working experiences in marketing/sales in energy business.

Knowledge in gas utilization technology and energy audit/management is an advantage.

Have full understanding of the gas utility business and general development.

Good command in oral and written English.

Must be proficient with computer application software (MS Offices, dbase, etc.)

Good communication and analytical skill, initiatives and able to work independently.
