Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and repair of buildings and M&E systems.

• Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia.

Job description

Responsibilities

Ensure the maintenance, repair, and upgrading (including utilities and cost savings) of SIRIM Berhad’s buildings, infrastructure, M&E systems, and specific equipment within approved budgets, schedules, and standards.

Plan, organize, monitor, streamline (via process and system reengineering), coordinate, negotiate, problem-solve, guide, and support all maintenance activities.

Coordinate, direct, and supervise Supporting Staff (Principal Technicians, Senior Technicians, Technicians, Chargemen, Wiremen, Administrative Assistants, and General Workers) in compliance with the Electricity Supply Act 1990 (Act 447).

Maintain all facilities to ensure a safe and conducive working environment for staff.
