Job summary

A leading airline is looking for an Executive, Contracts to assist in managing contracts and agreements with vendors. The candidate should have a degree in a relevant field and 1-3 years of experience in aviation or supply chain management. Responsibilities include drafting contracts, managing the contract life cycle, and monitoring vendor performance. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, with additional languages being an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Degree holder in relevant field or equivalent experience in aviation/engineering contract management.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Aviation/Supply Chain/Contracts or relevant Engineering field.
  • Knowledge in contracts management and procurement processes.

Position Summary

Assist in drafting, reviewing, maintaining, and managing contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Accountability
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining contracts and agreements.
  • Manage the entire contract life cycle to ensure adherence to terms, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Maintain and update the department’s contract database.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for necessary inputs and approvals.
  • Monitor vendor performance and prepare periodic reviews.
  • Prepare reports on contract status, risks, and expirations.
  • Support negotiations by compiling relevant data and industry benchmarks.
  • Ensure contract documentation complies with standards and regulations.
  • Assist in implementing audit findings related to contracts.
  • Maintain an organized contract filing system.
  • Track contract milestones and alert relevant parties.
  • Support contract renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Coordinate internal review processes for contract approval.
  • Assist in compiling data for budget planning and cost analysis.
  • Liaise with vendors on documentation, clarification, and invoice support.
  • Participate in audits and ensure timely resolution of follow-up actions.
Qualification & Working Experience
  • Degree holder in Aviation or Supply Chain management or Business administration or equivalent work experience in aviation / engineering contract management field.
  • More than 1 - 3 years’ experience working in Aviation / Supply Chain / Contracts or relevant Engineering field.
  • Good knowledge and understanding in contracts management and familiar with procurement process.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in Project / Program management.
  • Able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia languages. Other language(s) are added advantage
Authority

Authorized to undertake necessary activities to ensure contracts are effectively managed in line with company objectives.

In the absence of the position holder, duties will be delegated to the Senior Executive, Contracts & Operations.
