KEY ROLES :

  • Establish and maintain a Complaints Management System (manual and online) within the organisation.
  • Monitor and manage incoming information or complaints related to corruption, abuse of power, malpractice, or violations of the organisation’s code of conduct and ethics.
  • Forward complaints and reports to the Complaints Management & Evaluation Committee (CMEC) for assessment and determination of further action.
  • Ensure that cases involving corruption, abuse of power, or malpractice are addressed by the Detection and Verification sub-unit.
  • Forward complaints or information unrelated to IGU matters or concerning internal administration to the relevant departments for appropriate action.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of all complaints from receipt to resolution.
  • Analyse trends, types, and categories of complaints received to identify patterns or areas for improvement.
  • Prepare periodic Complaints Statistics Reports for monitoring and management purposes.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with other departments to enhance the effectiveness of the Complaints Management System.
  • Establish communication channels with enforcement authorities to ensure protection for individuals under the MACC Act 2009 (Act 694) and the Whistleblower Protection Act 2010 (Act 711), while safeguarding the confidentiality of information.
  • Maintain and enforce the Whistleblower Protection Policy to guarantee confidentiality and protection for whistleblowers.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) or recognised by the Public Service Department (PSD).
  • Participation in training related to integrity, auditing, or investigation is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in internal investigation or integrity-related functions is preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Must have no disciplinary or criminal record.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiar with compliance obligations, including anti-corruption regulations (MACC Act 2009), procedural requirements, and the Code of Conduct & Business Ethics.
  • Demonstrates high integrity and maintains confidentiality at all times.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Critical thinker, fast learner, and resourceful.
  • Skilled in report writing and analytical evaluation.
  • Meticulous in examining facts, documents, and evidence.
  • Able to analyze organizational context and align actions with the organization’s vision, mission, and values.
