Job description

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery: Safely and efficiently operate excavators and other heavy equipment for digging, grading, and earthmoving.
• Perform maintenance: Conduct daily inspections, routine maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment to ensure it is in safe and proper working condition.
• Read and interpret plans: Understand and follow construction plans and blueprints to accurately complete tasks.
• Site preparation: Clear sites of debris, excavate trenches and foundations, and prepare the worksite according to project specifications.
• Material handling: Load and unload materials, such as dirt, gravel, or debris.
• Team collaboration: Work closely with construction supervisors and other crew members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
• Safety compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies while on-site.
