An event management company based in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a qualified candidate to prepare exhibition layouts, assist the sales team, and manage supplier relationships. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration/Marketing and have at least 3 years of experience in the exhibitions industry. Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese is essential for communicating with clients. This role also requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
To prepare exhibitions layout, floor directory, info guide/hall guide
To prepare the exhibitors listing and update info from time to time
To reply and follow up on the enquiry email
To support sales team on exhibition info, booth, etc and update sales booking in layout
To coordinate on weekly sales meeting and prepare minutes of meeting
To liaise with suppliers e.g. contractors and venue owners
To compile feedbacks and prepare post-show report
To work closely with Operations team for on-site exhibition coordination and management
To ensure department’s goals and directions are met
Requirements: -
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent certification.
Preferably a senior candidate with at least three years of working experience in the exhibitions or events management industry. Candidates from other relevant industries are also welcome to apply.
Computer literate and well organised with pleasant and outgoing personality
Possess own transport and be able to travel when necessary, would be an advantage
Able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferably specialized in Exhibition/Event Planning or equivalent. (Exhibition industry knowledge would be added advantage)
Candidates must be fluent in the languages required to effectively communicate with our Mandarin and Cantonese speaking client base.
