We are seeking a highly motivated and immediately available Event Manager to step in and drive the continued success of our ongoing regional events. This is a dynamic and hands‑on role for an individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and possesses a strong blend of technical aptitude and practical event management expertise. If you are passionate about creating memorable events, possess technical expertise in sound and lighting, carpentry work, fabrication, and console management, and have a track record of successful event management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • End‑to‑End Event Management: Plan, execute, and manage regional event operations from initial concept through to post‑event reporting. This includes event design, supplier liaison and selection, delegate invitation, registration, event flow management and troubleshooting, audiovisual and multimedia design, security operations, photography and videography.
  • Hands‑On Execution: Directly oversee and contribute to all aspects of event execution, ensuring seamless operations and high‑quality delivery.
  • Technical Proficiency: Liaise effectively with technical vendors (contractors, AV, lighting) and possess a solid understanding of technical event elements to ensure smooth and impactful event delivery.
  • Budget and Timeline Management: Develop and manage comprehensive event budgets, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and adherence to strict timelines.
  • Vendor Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage vendors and suppliers to secure necessary resources and services.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate all event logistics, including set‑up and tear‑down.
  • Promotion and Engagement: Lead promotional activities to maximize event attendance and engagement.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address any challenges that may arise during the event planning and execution phases.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze the success of each event and prepare comprehensive post‑event reports.
