A leading event management company in Shah Alam is seeking an Event Coordinator to assist in planning and executing exhibitions, conferences, and corporate events. Responsibilities include managing logistics, coordinating with vendors, handling on-site management, and ensuring excellent customer service. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, including exhibitions, conferences, and corporate events. Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiation, catering, transportation, and accommodation. Develop and maintain event timelines, budgets, and project plans. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution. Handle on-site event management, including registration, attendee support, and troubleshooting. Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, including venues, caterers, and suppliers. Provide excellent customer service to event attendees and stakeholders. Resolve any issues or problems that may arise during events in a timely and efficient manner. Evaluate event success and provide recommendations for future improvements. Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and clients in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Utilize strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Apply problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges during event planning and execution.
