Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL transformation rules using Talend Big Data

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve data integration issues to ensure data accuracy and consistency

  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders in France/Luxembourg and Malaysia when production issues arise

  • Build and optimize data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics

  • Monitor data quality, performance, and compliance with internal security policies and industry standards

  • Document ETL workflows and transformation rules for operational transparency

  • Assist in data migration and integration from legacy systems to modern cloud platforms

  • Uphold data governance and best practices across all ETL processes

Preferred Industry Background:
Experience in the finance, banking, or insurance sectors is preferred.

Academic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong business analysis capabilities

  • Experience in supporting production and providing user-facing support is highly valued

  • Ability to work independently and respond proactively to issues

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially across regional teams

Technical Skills Required:

  • ETL development using Talend Big Data

  • Strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and migration

  • Experience with data validation, cleansing, and enrichment

  • Familiarity with data governance principles

  • Working knowledge of cloud-based data platforms is an advantage
