- Daily monitoring, logging, and handling of IETS operations – highlight all findings to EHS and Facilities Manager. (IETS – Industrial Effluent Treatment Plants) – According to DOE requirements.
- Ensure no interruption to DI (Deionizer water) and prevent pollution of Waste Water to the environment or monsoon drain.
- Prepare weekly inventory reports for the DOE online system, complying with DOE regulations.
- Follow up and update plant chemical registration, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Matrix, and registration.
- Obtain EHS buy-off.
- Register and log Permit To Work (PTW) for all Sanmina vendors and conduct site safety monitoring.
- Assist EHS Officer with risk assessments and documentation.
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections, and report findings.
Priority is given to candidates holding an IETS Competent Person (CP) certificate. Experience in IETS is mandatory.
Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Engineering or EHS-related fields.
Experience in:
- IETS – Industrial Effluent Treatment System or Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP).
- Handling EHS-related environmental, occupational safety, and health work – an added advantage.
- Training employees and vendors in English and Malay – an added advantage.
- Conducting ISO 14001 or RBA (EICC) internal audits – an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel – an added advantage.
Additional advantage if capable of report writing, email communication, and conducting meetings efficiently.
