Job description

Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, permits, and standards (e.g. ISO 14001, hazardous materials, scheduled waste, industrial effluent).

Manage scheduled waste programs, including identification, segregation, storage, transportation, disposal, and waste reduction initiatives.

Oversee industrial effluent treatment systems to ensure effective operation, monitoring, and compliance with environmental standards.

Monitor environmental performance (water, air, noise), maintain records, and prepare regulatory and management reports.

Conduct internal environmental audits, support external audits, and implement corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement.

Ensure raw materials comply with customer and regulatory substance requirements (RoHS, REACH, Green Procurement standards, etc.).

Develop and deliver environmental, waste management, and compliance training; promote environmental awareness and sustainability culture.

Ensure compliance with company policies, including Code of Conduct, Business Ethics, Anti-Bribery, Whistleblower, and EHS policies.

Develop and maintain emergency response and contingency plans for environmental incidents; conduct drills and ensure readiness.

Liaise with regulatory authorities, waste contractors, treatment vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and address environmental concerns.

Who are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications or qualifications in environmental management are preferred.

Proven experience in environmental management, waste management, or industrial effluent treatment.

Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management practices, and industrial effluent treatment technologies.

Excellent understanding of scheduling waste categorization, handling, and disposal requirements.

Familiarity with environmental monitoring and sampling techniques.

Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Proficiency in using computer software for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.

Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWAM)

Certified Environmental Professional in The Operation of Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems, Biological Processes & Physical Chemical Process (CePIETSO (BP) & (PCP))
