Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist during government inspections (DOE, DOSH, BOMBA).
  • Conduct audits on SHE practices and identify risks.
  • Lead ESH Committee meetings and prepare minutes.

About the job

The primary role is to developing and implementing comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies in accordance with legal and corporate guidelines.

Job Responsibilities
  • In charge of MyKKP system and related license under Department of Occupational Health & Safety (DOSH).
  • Ensure all machinery & equipment with valid DOSH certificates.
  • In charge for the environment performance monitoring for generator, LEV and others equipment required by DOE.
  • Arrange & assist government officers during on-site inspection such as DOE, DOSH and BOMBA etc.
  • Ensure adoption, compliance and deployment of HIRARC, CHRA, ERP etc.
  • In charge of industrial accident investigation case, update the incident trends and analysis.
  • Plan and lead ESH Committee meeting & prepare ESH minutes meeting.
  • Conduct regular audit on safety, health and environment (SHE) practices and determine on areas of Risk Management.
  • Conduct orientation program for new joined employee.
  • Assist in emergency response, ERT training, and any other training required to enhance employees understanding and skill in terms of EHS.
  • Report to the management of any event related to safety and health of the workplace. 13 Any other duties on matters pertaining to safety and health of the workplace by the management. 14 Familiar with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in (Environment/Health/Safety) or Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical.
  • Must be registered as Safety & Health Officer with DOSH and a Green Book Holder
  • At least 5 years working experience in a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a EHS officer or in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
