Job summary

A game development studio in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Concept Artist to create high-quality artwork for game production. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of professional experience and a strong background in arts. Proficiency in Photoshop and familiarity with 2D and 3D software, such as Blender and Substance Painter, is highly favorable.   • Stylized Design Expertise: Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in stylized and cute environment concept design.
  • Create high-quality concept artwork for game production.
  • Ability to design and render high finishing design artwork that meets professional standards.
  • Adaptable and skilled in solving design challenges.
  • Work closely with leads, teammates and other departments to deliver cohesive and impactful concept art.
  • Independently manage tasks, personal schedule, and consistently meet deadlines effectively.
  • Act as a mentor for junior artists when required for specific projects and tasks.
Requirements
  • 4+ years as a concept artist in a professional setting.
  • Possess experience in core game development.
  • Background in arts, either through a diploma, degree, or self-taught.
  • Strong understanding of art fundamentals, including perspective, color theory, and lighting.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and other relevant digital tools.
  • Open to talents from SEA countries, with priority given to Malaysian artist.
  • Willingness to work onsite or relocate.
