Job summary

A leading IT solutions provider in Malaysia is seeking a Network Engineer to participate in developing and designing Enterprise Network Architecture, including LAN/WLAN concepts and WAN Routing. Key responsibilities include managing network incidents, implementing change requests, network monitoring, and mentoring junior team members. Ideal candidates should possess hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper products, have strong communication skills, and be adept with Microsoft tools. This role may require travel for project implementation and shift rotations.

Qualifications

• Hands-On experience with network devices and routers.
• Experience with network protocols and technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Experience with documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design Enterprise Network Architecture.
• Manage Network Incident tickets and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement Network Change Requests for LAN, WLAN, and Firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and alerts.
• Mentor and coach other team members.
• Participate in Call and shift Rotation.

Skills

Hands-On experience with Cisco products

Experience with Enterprise LAN Switching

Experience with WAN Technologies

Good understanding of Wireless LAN networking concepts

Good in documentation using Microsoft tools
