We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Mechanical Engineering Department. This role is responsible for overseeing mechanical design, CAD/CAM activities, engineering documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration—while building a high‑performing engineering team and driving technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical engineers, designers, and document control staff
• Assign projects and tasks based on skills, workload planning, and management direction
• Coach team members to enhance technical capability, performance, and career growth
• Take full ownership of Engineering Department operations, outcomes, and standards

Engineering & Technical Excellence

• Review, verify, and approve all engineering drawings, documents, reports, and technical data
• Oversee mechanical design and CAD modeling using Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Pro‑Engineer, or equivalent
• Ensure all designs meet technical, regulatory, and internal quality standards before release
• Manage and continuously improve mechanical engineering competencies and best practices
• Drive root cause analysis and resolve non‑conformance in part performance or design issues
• Promote innovation, process optimization, and continuous engineering improvement

Process, Compliance & Coordination

• Implement, maintain, and enforce engineering SOPs and document control processes
• Ensure effective coordination with Production, QA/QMS, MIS, and other departments
• Monitor engineering project progress, documentation accuracy, and technical reports
• Escalate critical technical risks, deviations, or non‑compliance promptly to management
• Execute strategic and operational directives issued by top management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong hands‑on experience in CAD (Fusion 360, Inventor, SolidWorks) and essential CAM knowledge
• Proven experience leading mechanical engineering or design teams
• Strong understanding of engineering standards, manufacturing processes, and quality systems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and drive results
