Job description

Responsible for managing all extrusion activities for PUR and FEP capillaries used in in‑house IVC products and bulk shipments to BBMUS and BBVS. Key duties include ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, meeting schedules, minimizing waste and downtime, optimizing processes, addressing customer complaints, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring workplace safety.

Control production activities, material flow, and inventory to achieve cost and quality targets and production schedules of the assigned production line(s), and ensure compliance with standards.

Manage production and process functions to ensure quality products are built efficiently and delivered on time (as per the bowling chart).

Monitor operation costs and lead efforts to reduce wastage in production (as per the bowling chart).

Ensure a safe working environment and good 5S practice (zero incident/accident).

May be responsible for the management and supervision of production technicians and supervisors for senior positions.

The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Chemical/Electrical Engineering. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• A minimum of three years of relevant working experience in process engineering or manufacturing.
• Knowledge and experience in the manufacturing process or the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in controlling production activities, material flow, and inventory to achieve the desired target.
• Experience in managing a group of non‑executive employees, assigning tasks, and checking work at frequent intervals.
• Experience in process improvement and project management.
• Skill in writing technical reports.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR requirements, process FMEA, validation compliance, change control activities, and customer complaints (NCIR/CAPA).
• Knowledge and experience in the extrusion process.
• Provides strong leadership, fosters collaboration, analyzes problems, and implements solutions.
• Requires a full working knowledge of a technical field. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts, and proposes a course of action.
