  • Assist employees with software installations and updates.

  • Collaborate with ICT team to resolve complex technical issues.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Onsite Desktop Technician to provide technical support and maintenance for laptop and desktop computers, peripheral devices, and software used by our staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring equipment, and ensuring smooth IT operations at FBMY and FBMSB offices

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective technical support for end-users onsite, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade desktop computers, laptops, and other peripheral devices.
  • Deploy devices to new joiners and collect returned devices from resigned staff
  • Perform routine maintenance, system updates, and security patches on end user devices to ensure optimal performance and security compliance.
  • Assist employees with software installations, updates, and application support.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, service requests, and issue resolution activities.
  • Educate users on best practices for hardware and software use.
  • Collaborate with ICT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISMS policies and data security protocols.
  • Respond professionally to user requests, maintain clear communications throughout resolution and provide guidance to prevent future issues
Skills & Qualifications
  • Min diploma or degree with min 2-3 years’ experience working in a level 2-3 desktop support or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Operating System
  • Active Directory, Intune and Entra
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues across a wide variety of both Microsoft M365 systems and internal business applications
  • Support of end user hardware across Dell, HP and Lenovo desktop/laptop types
  • Configuring of Intune and Microsoft applications on both Android and iOS mobile devices
  • Troubleshooting of network issues on end user devices
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests efficiently.
