Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

• Establish optimum operation of palm oil mill process, in compliance with company policy.
• Assist Mill Manager to ensure compliance with all Company operating policies, procedures and standing instructions.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and schedule/plan maintenance work.
• Check and ensure that machines are well maintained for optimum operation of the processes.
• Guide and supervise workshop fitters to perform scheduled maintenance, repairs and installations of parts and machines.
• Compliance to regulatory body standards such as industrial standard and safety regulations.

Job Scope

1. Project Assistance
   • Support Senior Engineers: Assist senior engineers in designing, planning, and executing projects.
   • Documentation: Help in preparing reports, documentation, and technical specifications.
2. Practical Experience
   • Site Visits: Visit project sites to gain hands‑on experience and understand the practical challenges.
   • Equipment Handling: Learn to operate and maintain engineering equipment and tools.
3. Data Collection and Analysis
   • Field Data Collection: Gather data from the field for analysis.
   • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations.
4. Quality Control and Assurance
   • Inspection: Inspect materials, fabrication processes, and result to ensure they meet quality standards.
   • Testing: Conduct commissioning and trials to validate engineering designs before handover to process line.
5. Maintenance and Troubleshooting
   • Maintenance: Support maintenance activities to ensure equipment and systems are functioning properly.
   • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues.
6. Compliance and Safety
   • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects comply with industry regulations and standards.
   • Safety Procedures: Follow and promote safety procedures and protocols on‑site.
7. Collaboration and Teamwork
   • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with different teams and departments.
   • Client Interaction: Occasionally interact with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates.
