Job description

IKA Works (Asia) Sdn Bhd – Rawang, Selangor

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Electronic Engineer to join our dynamic team at IKA in Rawang. In this fulltime position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of our state‑of‑the‑art electrical and electronic systems.

What you’ll be doing

Develop and design of electronics and firmware for laboratory and analytical products

Develop electronics hardware circuit and schematic for IKA products

Create and prepare technical documentation and drawings (circuits, PCB layouts, operations instructions etc.)

Prepare cost calculation at distance design steps, from engineering to production

Conduct hazard, risk and error analysis for the products

Assembly and test functional samples and prototype models

Ensure design comply with relevant standards, EMC and low voltage guidelines

What we’re looking for

Degree in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering

4‑5 years’ experience in firmware programming for embedded systems & microcontroller (ARM controller)

Experience in PID control

Knowledge in programming C, C++, C#, Java, JIRA, Confluence

Able to work independently under high pressure

Being self‑motivated and proactive
