Pentrac Itron is seeking a conscientious Calibration/Testing Technician that will be in charge of performing standard calibration/testing processes on a variety of specialized equipment and responsible for recording and analyzing the results.

Overview

Calibration/Testing Technician responsible for performing standard calibration and testing procedures on specialized equipment, recording and analyzing results, and supporting technical teams in issue resolution and decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Perform standard calibration and testing procedures on a variety of specialized equipment.
  • Record, analyze, and interpret calibration/testing results to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to instruments and equipment.
  • Support decision-making by providing accurate technical insights.
  • Assist technical teams with recommendations to resolve lab issues, equipment malfunctions, or process roadblocks.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Preferably at least 1 year of experience in calibration, testing, or relevant industry.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply – training will be provided!
  • Able to read and interpret technical documents or equipment manuals.
  • Basic knowledge of measurement equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope) is an added advantage.
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Willing to work overtime or in shifts if required.
  • A team player with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
