Job description

Main Duties

• Performs engineering tasks for the design of electrical systems for data centre facilities
• If required, prepares electrical engineering calculations and deliverables in support of electrical system designs
• Coordinates with disciplines in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensuring those other disciplines’ inputs are incorporated
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and all relevant technical documentation
• Supports project on-site execution and act as electrical specialist
• Assists in developing studies and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work
• Assists in the development of conceptual design, preliminary design and final design documents which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of these systems, the development of power diagrams, layout of electric equipment, electrical system control
• Ensures the technical quality and the timely issuance of all the electrical documents and drawings on the project.
• Raises concerns and change notices for consideration.
• Organize regular electrical discipline meetings. Draft the action plan and follow up on the closure of the action plans.
• Create and write packages and scopes of work to support commercial activities
• Support with closeout and commissioning of a project
• Proven skills in all digital environments and common data environments
• Proven successful experience in electrical engineering within the construction management processes
• Leading electrical processes and teams
• Effective communicator able to demonstrate clearly to all team members
• Knowledge of ASHRAE standards
• Knowledge of data centre typologies and commissioning requirements
