Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support solar farm projects in Malaysia. The role involves managing electrical designs, ensuring safety through protection coordination, and supervising project execution. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and have at least 4 years of experience in relevant fields, ideally registered with BEM and holding a Competent Engineer certificate. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical infrastructure, preferably in Solar PV or Substation projects.
• Registered with BEM (Board of Engineers Malaysia).
• Possessing a Competent Engineer certificate from ST is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and layout drawings.
• Design protection schemes and select settings for relays.
• Provide technical site supervision during the installation.
• Lead the electrical T&C process before COD.
