Job description

Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Develop and implement PLC programs for automated systems, optimizing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.

Conduct power system studies, including load flow analysis, short-circuit analysis, and protection coordination, to ensure system reliability and safety.

Create detailed circuit designs and schematics using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design principles.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical problems in a timely manner, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable measurements for process control.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and process engineers, to integrate electrical systems into overall plant design.

Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate design concepts, test results, and project progress to stakeholders.

Must have strong understanding and ability to apply all relevant electrical and engineering formulas in design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting activities.

Requirements
  • Possess a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in electrical engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Exhibit proficiency in PLC programming, with hands-on experience in developing, troubleshooting and optimizing PLC-based control systems.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of power systems, including design, analysis and maintenance of electrical distribution networks.
  • Possess strong circuit design skills, encompassing the ability to design, simulate, and test electrical circuits for various applications.
  • Be proficient in AutoCAD for creating and modifying electrical schematics, layouts, and single-line diagrams.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of instrumentation principles and practices, including the selection, calibration, and maintenance of various types of sensors and transmitters.
