  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar EHSS role, preferably in EHS or a related environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate EHS campaigns covering Safety, Environmental, and Occupational Health initiatives.
  • Assist with Workplace Safety programs, including contractor orientation badge issuance and inspection data compilation.
  • Support Occupational Health & Industrial Hygiene programs by coordinating medical surveillance and hygiene monitoring activities.
  • Assist with Environmental programs, including scheduling and facilitating environmental monitoring activities.
  • Coordinate EHS training sessions by arranging logistics, reserving rooms, and tracking attendance.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized EHS records to ensure documentation is complete, traceable, and audit-ready.
  • Handle EHS administrative tasks and provide day-to-day departmental support.
  • Track EHS department budget and spending to support financial monitoring and planning.

Dexcom, a leading global medical device company, is seeking an EHSS Technician to join our dynamic team in Batu Kawan, Penang. This full-time role is critical in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our manufacturing operations. As an EHSS Technician, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining Dexcom's high standards and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

The EHS Technician supports our mission by carrying out day-to-day EHS activities, providing practical support across operations, and working closely with cross-functional teams. In this role, you assist in implementing operational risk control plans, conducting routine inspection and basic risk assessments, supporting scheduled waste management activities, maintaining emergency preparedness readiness, and supporting the implementation of EHS campaigns. You also handle EHS departmental administrative tasks to ensure program efficiency and documentation completeness. As a hands-on team member, the EHS Technician helps put EHS practices into action to keep our people safe, protect the environment, and support smooth and compliant operation.
