E-commerce Executive Assistant Cum Warehouse Support
Overview: You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform while overseeing warehouse activities to ensure smooth order fulfillment. This dual-role position requires balancing administrative and digital commerce tasks with hands-on warehouse responsibilities. Approximately 70% of your role will focus on warehouse operations—including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics optimization—while 30% will involve e-commerce support, such as platform management, customer service, and performance reporting. By ensuring efficiency in both areas, you will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and operational success.
Requirements & Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or e-commerce support preferred
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of inventory management tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor, customer, and team interactions
- Ability to balance administrative tasks with hands-on warehouse responsibilities
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations (70%)
- Order Fulfillment: Manage picking, packing, and shipping processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock control activities, including cycle counts, audits, and warehouse organization.
- Shipping Coordination: Ensure all outgoing shipments are properly labeled, packed, and dispatched according to company standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Logistics Optimization: Collaborate with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager to identify and implement process improvements.
- Returns Processing: Handle returned products, ensuring proper inspection, restocking, or disposal per company policies.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures across warehouse processes, conducting regular inspections and audits.
E-commerce Operations (30%)
- Order Management: Oversee online order processing from receipt to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels and align with warehouse teams to ensure accurate replenishment.
- Platform Management: Assist in managing product listings, pricing updates, and promotional activities on e-commerce platforms.
- Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, shipping, and returns, ensuring high service standards.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze KPIs such as order fulfillment rates, shipping times, and customer satisfaction, preparing reports for management.
- Payment Processing: Coordinate with finance to ensure smooth online transactions and resolve payment issues promptly.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely restocking and efficient delivery.
