E-commerce & Digital Marketing Executive
This role is built for a hands‑on digital native who wants to do real work, not just “coordinate”. You will manage day‑to‑day e‑commerce operations, run digital ads, support social media and content, and help execute campaigns from idea to reporting. You will also support marketing communications and light administrative tasks to keep projects moving smoothly. You will get exposure across platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google, marketplaces) and see clearly how your work impacts sales and brand performance. The ideal candidate has 2 years of digital marketing experience, strong interest in e‑commerce and digital ads.
Key Responsibilities
- E-Commerce Operations
- Assist in managing Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and other online sales channels.
- Update product listings, images, pricing and promotions to keep the stores fresh and accurate.
- Monitor competitor activities, campaign performance and marketplace analytics.
- Work with the sales/e‑commerce team to improve and optimise listing quality, traffic and conversions.
- Digital Advertising (Meta, TikTok, Google)
- Support the setup and execution of digital ad campaigns across Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Google Ads.
- Help build audiences, set budgets and implement basic tracking and pixels.
- Monitor ad performance, compile reports and propose optimisation ideas.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather creatives, copy and landing page requirements.
- Campaign Execution & Coordination
- Support marketing campaigns such as product launches, seasonal promotions, events and brand initiatives.
- Liaise with designers, videographers, external partners, influencers and agencies on deliverables.
- Help enforce and maintain brand guidelines across visual and written assets.
- Ensure campaigns go live on time with accurate content.
- Assist in post‑campaign wrap‑ups (performance summaries, learnings and insights).
- Social Media Management
- Help plan, schedule and manage content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube).
- Assist in content creation - basic copy, captions, simple editing and asset coordination.
- Monitor comments and messages, highlight issues and support community engagement.
- Research trends, industry insights, consumer behaviour and best‑performing content formats.
- Compile monthly performance reports and suggest improvements.
- Administrative & Marketing Support
- Assist with day‑to‑day marketing administration: documentation, coordination, scheduling and material‑preparation.
- Support internal reporting, task tracking, and marketing decks and paperwork.
- Upload content to websites, e‑commerce platforms, mobile apps and internal drive systems.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, Multimedia or related fields.
- 2 years of experience in digital marketing, e‑commerce or social media management.
- Hands‑on experience running Meta Ads, Google Ads, or TikTok Ads is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable with social media platforms, content creation basics, and reading simple analytics.
- Familiar with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe apps, or similar creative tools.
- Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
- Organised, systematic with digital files, and able to maintain proper documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, accountable and able to work independently with guidance.
- Curious, willing to learn fast and able to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
