Job summary

A leading port management company in Gelang Patah, Malaysia is seeking a Driver to ensure timely and safe transportation of pilots. The ideal candidate should possess a valid Class D driving license, have good driving records, and at least one year of experience in container port management. Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle safety, adhering to company regulations, and executing daily work instructions efficiently. Candidates must be physically fit and able to work shifts, including public holidays.

Qualifications

• Physically and medically fit with normal color vision and good eyesight.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in container port/terminal management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are in good condition and safe to use.
• Transport pilots timely and safely as per assignments.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues to the superior.

Job description

• Responsible for ensuring vehicles are in good condition and safe to use.
• Responsible to transport pilot timely and safely for any assigned jobs via Marine Resource Management System (MRMS).
• To Transport Pilots as per Planned in the MRMS.
• Ensuring Pilots are sent and pick up on time as per instructed.
• Report any issues related to vehicle maintenance to the immediate superior on duty.
• To abide by all rules and regulations set by PTP.
• Execute daily work tasks with a positive and open mind, execute given work instructions fast, safe and reliable according deemed necessary.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

• Physically and medically fit, normal color vision and good eyesight.
• Possess at least PMR/PT3.
• Possess valid class D driving license.
• Good driving record.
• Minimum 1 years driving experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in container port/terminal management.
• Able to work in a shift system including Public Holiday.
