Job summary

A construction company in Kuantan is seeking a Civil Engineer to prepare and deliver civil and structural drawings for various projects. The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and have 3-4 years of experience in infrastructure or survey drawings. Proficiency in CAD applications and familiarity with JKR projects is preferred. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil/structural/infra work and related drawings.
• Create shop drawings as needed.
• Prepare supporting documents for interim claims.
• Check, alter, plot, and deliver required drawings.
• Produce engineering drawings conforming to standards.
• Promote communication with engineers and clients.
• Undertake additional tasks as directed.

Job description

To prepare Civil / Structural / infra work (earthwork, roadwork, drainage) / M&E infra works and any related drawings assigned by superior complied with specification, requirements and standards.

To prepared shop drawing if required complied with specification, requirement and standard.

To prepare supporting documents (Drawing) for interim claims complied with specification, requirement and standard.

To check, alter, plot and deliver all required drawings.

Demonstrating working to a high level in producing engineering drawings conforming to certain standards/requirements with MINIMAL supervision.

Promote effective two-way communication with engineers / clients and to work out the detailed engineering drawings, foundation drawings, details and etc.

Undertake any other related tasks as and when directed by the Engineer / Client.

Any other work that is deemed necessary for the operations of the department.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering (Civil).

Candidate must have at least 3-4 years working experience in infrastructure/survey drawings for this position.

Preference for those with experience dealing with JKR project.

Proficient in CAD application skills and ability to understand technical drawings.

Proficient in Civil3D or BIM / Revit will be an advantage.

Focus, responsive, responsible and have good interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated and work well under pressure.
