A leading logistics company is seeking a Domestic Operator to manage operations including receiving, sorting, and shipping. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of receiving, encoding, sorting, and loading shipments.
• Cooperate with truck drivers for loading and unloading.
• Ensure safety and compliance with security regulations.
• Prepare work station and ensure equipment readiness.
• Report any abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Attend daily meetings and support colleagues on the operational floor.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Domestic Operator to join DHL eCommerce Malaysia in Puchong!

The Domestic Operator will be responsible for smooth operations of the working station of receiving, encoding, sorting, dim scanning, loading and return shipment from depots or any additional task assign by superior.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service Management

• Work corporative with truck driver for loading/unloading
• Coordinate between team member on operational floor
• Compliance the security regulatory and feedback any irregularity or foresee the risk of un-secure

Process Management

• Read and do understand on operational procedures/work instruction
• Preparation the work station be ready to run operational on daily basis
• Pre-check by apply checklist for all machine/devices assure be ready for operational
• Ensure machine and equipment is ready to run operational
• Report to supervisor any abnormal machine/devices, materials, etc. which related to daily routine operational
• Ensure unloading product from customer’s premise and/or depots with safety handling and caring while convey to operational work floor
• Ensure an accuracy number of product receiving
• Feed product in operational floor with the right side to the right station as operational procedure saying.
• Complete the encode and capacity is meet company’s expectation
• Meet encoding production standards utilizing proper procedures
• Ensure sorting product to the right depots/destination
• Ensure completion of loading to shuttle truck within time line and meet truck departure’s schedule
• Must be able to work extended hours as assigned by superior
• Must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, or irregular shifts

People Management

• Attend the daily meeting as schedule by supervisor
• Participated and sharing the team of best demonstrative practice
• Supporting colleagues on operational floor

Desired Skills / Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in warehouse environment preferably logistic industry

• Typing skills both Malay and English with speed and accuracy as requirement by central hub
• Excellence reading, writing in Malay

Minimum Educational Qualification

• Minimum PMR or equivalent certification.
