Job summary

A leading luxury hotel chain in Kuala Lumpur is searching for a Divisional Trainer - Rooms to assist in the efficient running of the department aligned with corporate strategies. This role involves identifying training needs, developing training plans, and implementing consistent training across front office, housekeeping, and guest services. Ideal candidates will have a degree in hospitality, experience in training within the hospitality industry, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia only.
  • Experience in a training role within hospitality, preferably in Rooms Division.
  • Strong understanding of front office, housekeeping, and guest service operations in luxury hotels.

Summary

You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Divisional Trainer - Rooms will work closely with the Rooms Division leadership team to identify training needs, create comprehensive training plans, and ensure consistent implementation across all relevant areas, including front office, housekeeping, and guest services.

Qualifications
  • Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
  • Ideally with a university degree/diploma in hospitality/hotel management.
  • Work experience in a training role within the hospitality industry, preferable in the Rooms Division.
  • Strong understanding of front office, housekeeping, and guest service operations in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs and workshops.
  • Good communications, organizational, interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and engage employees are essential.
