About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Director of Manufacturing to lead and oversee our manufacturing operations in the glove or pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production management, quality control, and process optimization to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and product excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness while maintaining high‑quality standards.
- Production Oversight: Manage day‑to‑day manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations, including FDA, GMP, ISO, and other relevant quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to maintain consistency and compliance with industry standards.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost control while maximizing profitability.
- Technology & Innovation: Implement modern manufacturing technologies and automation to improve productivity and competitiveness.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, supply chain, engineering, and other departments to align manufacturing objectives with overall business goals.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce workplace safety regulations and promote a culture of health and safety among employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the glove or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of process improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (GMP, ISO, FDA, etc.).
- Experience in managing large‑scale production facilities and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and highly regulated environment.
