A leading payment technology company is seeking a Consulting Director based in Kuala Lumpur to lead consulting engagements for key clients. This hybrid role involves developing client relationships, preparing project proposals, and conducting industry research. The ideal candidate should have over 12 years of experience in consulting and a strong understanding of the payments industry. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to drive innovation are essential for success in this position.
We are looking for an individual to join us as a Consulting Director in the VCA team based in Malaysia. The role will act as the overall program head to deliver end‑to‑end consulting engagements for our key issuing, acquiring, merchant and fintech clients. The program covers payment strategy review and roadmap design, portfolio and product‑market fit assessment, customer value proposition design and refresh, people and talent enablement, digital payments wallet assessment and launch, mobile banking app diagnostics and enhancement, and other growth initiatives. It will also cover improving customer engagement on client portfolios powered by Visa’s data and collaborating closely with the data science teams on building data‑driven solutions (e.g., AI model deployment).
The Consulting Director will identify potential clients’ business pain points and areas for strategy and process improvement, define project scope and deliverables, and build new practice solutions that create revenue opportunity.
This is a hybrid position. The expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
