Sime Darby Auto Performance Sdn Bhd (SDAP) is the official importer of Porsche vehicles in Malaysia, taking over the local operations since 2010. SDAP is the authorised distributor and seller of Porsche vehicles and parts, and also provides After Sales Services for Porsche vehicles in Malaysia. It currently operates at Porsche Centre Ara Damansara, Porsche Centre Sg Besi, Porsche Centre Penang, Porsche Centre Johor Bahru. SDAP is under the Sime Darby Motors Division, a member of the Sime Darby Group.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for the day‑to‑day planning, execution and implementation of marketing and activities to enhance customers’ experience and maintain good relationships to encourage loyalty & trust.
- Assist the Marketing team to support and execute the overall marketing strategy for the company to meet business targets and enhance the company’s brand image.
- Plan and implement Porsche’s marketing related activities to increase footfall to retail sales department, inclusive of vehicle sales/purchase.
- Plan and implement Company’s marketing calendar to increase digital brand awareness and enhance lead generation across a broad range of digital marketing channels. ‘Always On’ initiative for the Porsche brand on digital platform to increase awareness.
- Development of communication materials for Porsche Dealer Websites including daily monitoring.
- To design and visualize marketing communication materials for both above and below the line communication.
- Daily and weekly budget update/consolidation of Porsche vehicles marketing budget on ‘BrandMaker’ and MPlan budget.
- Daily monitoring and updating of marketing metrics and marketing KPI dashboard for management reporting.
- Execute department administrative work includes sales and finance related, external parties that is related to marketing campaigns and activities.
- Contribute to write ups in departmental newsletter, websites through collected marketing highlights.
- Managing customers enquiries related to marketing events and campaigns.
- Share data driven insights with communications, tracking customer journeys through the digital estate and optimizing for conversions.
- To assist and support Marketing, CRM and PR in overall activation programs to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency.
- Digital assets – Custodian to Bit.ly, Google Business, photoshop/illustrator and other digital platforms assigned.
- Understand conversion funnels, track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns for continuous improvement including identifying gaps in digital channels and offering long‑ and short‑term strategies and tactics.
- Keep abreast of trends on social media, ecommerce, digital marketing and industry developments, and leverage on such trends and developments to optimise campaigns.
- Build a strong social strategy to grow followers, brand interest and engagement through engaging content across different digital platforms.
- Assist and manage the Company’s media platforms including websites, ad campaigns, social media accounts and email marketing with the objective to drive sales and brand loyalty through digital and social media campaigns.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL
Educational/ Professional Qualification
- Degree with at least 3 years working experience in Marketing/Advertising line or equivalent in the automotive industry or luxury products industry.
- OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Preference with experience in marketing and advertising related fields
Professional Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing.
- Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia, additional language skill is an added advantage.
- Good written and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal relationship and communication skills
- Knowledge in basic automotive terms and industries norms
- Strategic thinking, business focus, good decision making and negotiation skills.
- Good follow-up and meticulous, with eye for details.
- Understanding of marketing/advertising flow includes commanding designing software and basic knowledge of ATL, BTL and through‑the‑line communication.
- Good computer and skills, i.e. Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, SAP and DMS system
