Position Summary
The Digital Marketing & Creative Designer will support the company’s digital initiatives by managing social media content, designing professional visuals, editing promotional or informational videos, and developing and maintaining the company’s WordPress website. The ideal candidate is both creative and technically skilled, with an eye for clean, corporate-style design consistent with legal industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Content
- Manage, plan, design, and schedule posts for the company’s social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Create digital content such as company announcements, legal awareness posts, infographics, and event updates.
- Ensure branding and messaging are consistent with the company’s professional tone.
Graphic & Poster Design
- Design posters, digital banners, event flyers, brochures, and marketing materials.
- Translate legal information into clean, easy-to-understand visuals.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital and offline designs.
Website / WordPress Development
- Design, develop, update, and maintain the company’s website using WordPress.
- Manage themes, plugins, performance updates, backups, security, and optimisation.
- Update professional content including lawyer profiles, practice areas, and company announcements.
- Ensure a responsive, mobile-friendly, SEO-conscious website layout.
Video Editing & Multimedia
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook posts).
- Produce videos such as:
- Legal awareness/educational clips
- Event highlights and more
- Add subtitles, captions, transitions, background music, and branding elements.
- Ensure professional and clean editing suitable for the company.
General IT Support
- Provide basic IT troubleshooting (website issues, email/hosting support, digital asset management).
- Assist the company with digital tools, cloud systems, and productivity software when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in social media management and digital content creation.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Figma, or equivalent).
- Strong video editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut (for short‑form content).
- Solid experience with WordPress website design and maintenance.
- Understanding of branding for professional industries.
- Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and deliver clean, professional work.
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
- Experience producing corporate‑style or educational videos.
- Familiarity with SEO and social media analytics.
- Ability to handle basic photography or videography for events.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in website maintenance and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, or similar).
- Strong proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva) or Figma.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Solid understanding of HTML/CSS basics for minor website or email adjustments.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and digital design best practices.
- Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Excellent attention to detail, project management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
