This role involves delivering effective nutrition support and dietetic care services for both inpatients and outpatients, as well as coordinating community nutrition initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Nutrition Care
- Provide comprehensive nutrition care, including:
- Nutritional Assessment
- Dietary Intervention and Medical Nutrition Support
- Diet Counselling and Education
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in patient case review meetings.
- Offer on-call dietetic services during weekends and public holidays.
- Community Nutrition
- Develop and implement community nutrition projects, such as support groups, healthy eating campaigns, and workshops.
- Conduct public talks and in‑house lectures on nutrition and dietetics topics.
- Administrative Duties
- Review and enhance nutrition care programs and educational materials.
- Maintain accurate patient records and departmental documentation.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports on dietetic services.
- Food Services Management
- Contribute to hospital menu planning and therapeutic diet modifications.
- Collaborate on inter‑departmental projects to improve food service quality.
- Training and Professional Development
- Participate in continuing professional development programs and training sessions.
- Assist in developing training modules for staff, including dietetic technicians, assistants, and nursing personnel.
- General Accountabilities
- Ensure compliance with departmental standards and hospital policies.
- Support inventory management of nutrition products.
- Participate in departmental meetings and special projects.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or related field.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience in clinical dietetics (preferred). Fresh graduates from reputable universities with outstanding academic performance are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Proficiency in record-keeping and report preparation.
