Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories and assess changes required in the system.
• Estimate story points and sub-tasks.
• Design program specifications aligning to COBOL/JCL coding best practices.
• Perform Cobol/CICS program coding and testing.
• Update JIRA/Confluence.
• Provide User Acceptance Testing support.
• Support project deployment and post-implementation monitoring.
• Assist with production issue investigations.

• Working experience in Credit/Debit Card Systems.
• Must possess at least 5-year experience in CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, MVS, z/OS and mainframe environment
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Agile project delivery and DEVOPS tools.
• Ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks/ projects.
• Possess self-initiative and work with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• API/JAVA knowledge/skills.
• Knowledge in Easytrieve, REXX, SAS, ABEND AID, FileAid, Endeavor, Expeditor would be added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis of user stories and assessment of changes required in the system.
• Story points estimation and sub-task estimation.
• Design program specifications aligning to COBOL/JCL coding best practices for efficient system performance
• Perform Cobol/CICS program coding and testing
• JIRA/ Confluence updates
• User Acceptance Testing support that includes test environment set-up/configuration, batch execution and responding to business queries and clarifications.
• Supports project deployment activities and post implementation monitoring.
• Supports production issue investigation and resolution whenever need arises.
