Job summary

A leading energy company based in Malaysia is looking for an Engineer to handle the performance of engineering designs and proposals. This role involves designing explosion proof products and solar power systems, preparing BOMs, and supporting sales and project management teams. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and has 1-3 years of relevant experience, particularly in solar technology. Qualifications

• Minimum Degree / Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1-3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Must have experience in SOLAR.
• Experienced in computer-aided design.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for performance of the engineering design meeting the specification.
• Design Explosion proof products and Solar Power System for the proposal and project.
• Prepare Bill of Material (BOM).
• To support sales/proposal /project management team on Technical Clarification.
• Attending technical meeting, project handling over meeting and customer kick-off meeting.
• Assists Project/Design Team in developing and maintaining project documentation but not limited to drawing, specification, documents relevant to VDRL and other engineering related documentation work.
• Tenders, preparing detailed cost estimates and Bills of Material
• Facilitate pricing and prepare tender packages within schedules and monitor tender submission deadline and result.
• Liaise with internal and external customers for tender document clarifications.
• Review tender specifications and coordinate with relevant functions to gather all information required for tender submission.
• To participate in proposals strategy discussions, coordinate with operational and supporting groups that provide data for proposals preparation for submission.
• To review the data provided, ensure consistency and compatibility of all parts of proposals compile and assume responsibility for completed proposals.
• Any other job responsibility that will be assigned to you from time to time by your superior.

A) Engineering
