Key Responsibilities

🔹 Create & Prepare Drawings

• Develop shop drawings based on project requirements.
• Ensure designs meet Powerwell standards and industry best practices.
• Summarize key project needs and seek guidance for custom designs.

🔹 Check & Verify Drawings

• Review your own work carefully to avoid errors.
• Work with teammates to double-check accuracy.

🔹 Confirm Project Details

• Cross‑check drawings with project documents like single‑line diagrams and quotations.
• Clarify missing details with project engineers or estimators.

🔹 Learn & Improve Engineering Skills

• Update and standardize design libraries for better efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and improve technical know-how.

🔹 Manage Drawing Submissions

• Ensure timely submission of project drawings.
• Prioritize tasks and communicate with project teams.

🔹 Gain Hands‑on Production Experience

• Visit the production floor to see your designs come to life!
• Update as‑built drawings based on real product output.

🔹 Grow & Contribute to the Team

• Share knowledge and support your teammates.
• Take on additional tasks to support the team’s success.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in AutoCAD, EPLAN, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome! Candidates with 2+ years of experience in electrical switchboard design or a similar role will have an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or EPLAN with the ability to streamline drafting processes for efficiency.
• Basic to strong understanding of electrical schematics, switchboard components, and technical design principles.
• Detail‑oriented and problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to improving design processes.
• Must be willing to work at our Johor Bahru branch.
